About Me

My life can be divided like a pie with pretty much only 3 sections – Writing, Motherhood, and Fitness. I live with my son and husband in the midst of cornfields and cows in Hastings, NE. It’s a small town and it isn’t exciting, but my imagination and my job keep me entertained so it’s not often that boredom comes calling. After getting used to small town life, I find it relaxing and freeing. City worries just don’t seem to apply here.

I have various hobbies to fill my time though mostly I read, play games, and exercise. My two blogs are centered on writing (Writing World…the one you’re currently reading) and on fitness (Fitness Freak). They’re updated pretty much when I remember to update them (usually when something’s going on).

My writing revolves around my two loves – fantasy and horror. Sometimes it’s pure horror, sometimes pure fantasy but oftentimes a mixture of both. Currently, I have four books out on Amazon – Night’s TreasurePsyche, and Shadow’s Strength are all under my fantasy pseudonym (Kathryn St. John), while All Dark Places is under my horror name (Anna Sinjin).

  1. Hey there? Would you be interested in participating in a writing process blog hop? I would need a bio and picture from you in the next couple days so I can post it at the end of mine. Let me know 🙂

  2. Hi there 🙂

Would you mind if I used some of your words in my latest blog post? I’m writing a post directed towards non-writers, and I’d like to use this snippet you commented on my blog: “I push myself to say I’m a writer and that I write in the hopes that it’ll get easier but I think it never will unless it pays the bills…which it might never if I’m going to be realistic. Still, I’m only ever comfortable talking about my writing with my family. Even friends will make me feel skittish.” It will be attributed to you with a link to your blog.

If you don’t want me to use it, that’s okay, too. 😀

    1. Oo! Whenever I open my mouth out pours deep words of wisdom. … Well, something pours out anyway. I think a more apt description for it would be “word vomit.”

Sure, you can use what I said! 🙂 Happy to oblige.
